The ELIOS (Electronics for the Information Society) Lab has been engaged since years in the research and development of innovative products and systems to enhance education and learning.

ELIOS applies the constructivism pedagogical principles in the creation of compelling edutainment applications able to stimulate the user's personal initiative and a creative and compelling investigation of the subject.

ELIOS develops and uses state-of-the-art technologies to implement computer- networked applications that allow users to interact various kinds of contents ( e.g. art, history, science, languages).By using a narrative approach, we engage the learner in a pleasant, challenging and low-effort experience. Target platforms include mobile devices, digital TV and desktop computers.
