First European Conference on Technology Enhanced Learning
 
From: October 1-4, 2006 (Crete, Greece)

The First European Conference on Technology Enhanced Learning provides a unique forum for all research related to technology-enhanced learning, as well as its interactions with knowledge management, business processes and work environments. It will provide a competitive yet broad enough forum for technology enhanced learning research in Europe and world-wide through specialized workshops and the main conference. The EC-TEL 2006 will provide unique networking possibilities for participating researchers throughout the week and include project meetings and discussions for EU/IST projects funded within the 6th framework program under the action line of "Technology- Enhanced Learning and Access to Cultural Heritage".

Presenting ELU at World E-gov forum

Participation in two important events: ORT FRANCE (Raphael ATTIAS) was present at two important conferences based on the following thematic: elearning, e-government and ICT for inclusion, digital convergence towards a more competitive, mobile and inclusive knowledge-based Information society -


the World e-gov forum (18/19/20 October) and the Global Forum (9/10 November).
Some highlights on crucial topics as initiative i2010 with the impact of ubiquitous society (u-society) using and implementing global strategies on education, learning services, HR development for acceleration on information society. Important sessions addressed media and content issues in a convergent environment: IdTV, P2P, DVB-H;Triple play and quadruple play, interactivity. Other sessions on challenges for more efficient economy and daily e-services with high focus on e-education and e-learning, collaborative e-society, social networks and digital ecosystem.
